    The pristine waters of Georgian Bay are minutes from the Hideaway Farm. The Cape Croker part, Hope Bay, Lion’s Head and some smaller, less know swimming spots will refresh and create lasting memories.

    The Hideaway Farm is within 20 minutes of several Huron Lake beaches, known for their beautiful sunset.

    The Hideaway Farm B&B is 1km from the Bruce Trail (Malcom Bluff and Hope Bay section). Free trail drop off and pickup for hikers staying at the Hideaway Farm.

  • HORSE-BACK RIDING

    There are several horse-back riding ranches within minutes from the Hideaway Farm.

    The Colpoy’s Bay pier is a great place to catch Whitefish, Lake Trout, Lake Salmon, Bass and more.

  • FORAGING

    Our 100 acre farm provides plenty of opportunities to forage for wild flowers, herbs, mushrooms and more. Beyond the farm are public areas where foraging is permitted.

  • FARMER FOR A DAY

    The Purple Valley Hideaway Farm is a working farm. We have sheep, goats, chickens, bee hives, vegetable gardens and more. There is always wood to chop, animals to feed, eggs to collect, grass to cut, compost to turn, fences to move or repair, hives to inspect, produce to pick and preserve.
    If you would like to spend some of your time on farm chores that restore the soul and heal the body let us know and we will find the right chore for you.

  • Kayak/Canoe Trips

    Guided tour or rental only outfit that can take you down Rankin River or along Georgian Bay shore. Great reviews.

    Spend an hour in our bee-yard learning about the fascinating life of bees, the work of bee-keeping, taste honey right from the hive, and relax surrounded by the healing hum of the honey bee.
